Taiwanese company HTC has unveiled its latest smartphone called HTC One X+ that comes equipped with quad-core processor and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Though the new smartphone is identical with HTC One X from the outside, the company has made a lot of positive changes on the inside. The iYogi Reviews team unboxed this device so as to give you an insight into the various features of HTC One X+.

What’s improved from HTC One X?

iYogi Reviews HTC One XThe iYogi Reviews team observed that HTC has upgraded the processor in One X+ to 1.7GHz quadcore NVIDIA Tegra 3 AP37 and a larger 2,100 mAh battery. HTC also claims an increase in the performance of One X+ by up to 67% as compared to the original One X. The larger battery, on the other hand, brings an additional 6 hrs of talk time. The upgraded 1.6-megapixels front-facing camera gives a countdown of three seconds as default. This allows you to pose and give a perfect shot.

More features of HTC One X+

With the new camera software, you can set HTC One X+ to automatically shoot vanity stills in Portrait mode. The user interface also enables you to check the number of photos and minutes of videos left. Additionally, you can sort images by date, event, and location. And, with the map view option, you can get to know the place where clusters of shots were taken.

The iYogi Reviews team identified that the speaker of this smartphone has a new feedback amplifier, which according to HTC, “constantly monitors the signal to the speaker and tweaks it so as to make it as loud as can be without clipping or crackling.” Through the updated Sense tools, you can easily set up your new phone, such as arrange wallpapers and home screen widgets, and choose apps from Google Play.

The best thing is that the HTC One X+ is PlayStation certified, which means that you can download Sony games. HTC One X+ will be available in both 32GB and 64GB versions.
