Step in to the world of gaming with the new Lenovo Y50 Touch, which is specifically designed as a gaming laptop. Although it’s reasonably priced, but hardcore PC gamers have to hold themselves back for a better display and a faster GPU to hit the ground.

This 15.6-inch laptop is a one-of-its-kind gaming consoles, which you can enjoy sitting on your couch comfortably in your living room. Its base configuration consists of an Intel Core i7 CPU and Nvidia GeForce 860 M graphics card. Its excellent design and build quality makes it worth its value that can satiate the requirements of mainstream gamers who are looking for some non-clunky gaming laptop.

Its angular design is built around black metal embossed in a crosshatch pattern. Its boldly designed deep red backlit keyboard gives it an all the more different and rich look. The whole design is jazzed up by the buttonless, clickpad-style touchpad line up under the spacebar.  On top of that, its 1080p touchscreen gives a new dimension to working smoothly with the Windows 8 OS.

A very decent set of ports and connections are packaged with this laptop. The full-sized Ethernet jacks is all set to give a boost to its gaming systems, especially when you want to plug directly in to the jack for quicker downloading of heavy game files. These features make it quite a strong performer in the line of gaming laptops.

PC gamers always look for great battery life and this is one aspect where the Lenovo Y50 Touch especially does not let down its users. It can run for good 80-minutes on battery power during the informal gaming session.

So, we can happily conclude that it-s a decent-looking laptop, which is powerful enough for mainstream gaming. This semi-portable gaming rig can handle games at medium-to-high settings and can work as a sharp-looking gaming console. The only down line is its display, which is expected to get improved soon in the next launch of gaming laptops by Lenovo.

It’s available at a decent sum of $1,139.91 in US and £1,000 in UK. However, in UK its touchscreen version is not yet available. Apart from that, Australia still has to wait a little longer for its launch and availability.
